Our Philosophy

At Untap, we celebrate your success — not penalize it. We removed usage limits across every tier. When you grow, we grow with you by supporting you better, not charging you more.

This policy ensures unlimited usage while maintaining platform quality, performance, and reliability for everyone.

What "Unlimited" Means

• Unlimited spaces, platforms, and programs
• Unlimited submissions and participants
• Unlimited judges, admins, and collaborators
• Unlimited file uploads and storage
• All features available with no restrictions
• No overage fees or surprise charges

All tiers (Starter, Growth, Ultimate, Enterprise) have unlimited usage. The difference is support level.

Fair Use Guidelines

We offer unlimited usage for legitimate program management. The policy prevents abuse while supporting large-scale use.

✅ Acceptable Use Examples

• Run 10+ active programs
• Receive 4,000+ submissions to one program
• Have 30+ team members
• Upload hundreds of files
• Scale across departments or locations

Real examples: university running 47 programs, foundation processing 15,000+ applications, corporation managing 30+ pipelines.

⚠️ Prohibited Use Examples

Fair use does NOT include:

• Platform Resale / Sublicensing: reselling access, white-labeling without Enterprise agreement, operating as a service bureau.
• Malicious or Abusive Activity: automated bot submissions, spam, attempts to degrade performance, illegal content.
• Extreme Resource Abuse: single files >2GB, using Untap primarily for storage, excessive API scripts without Enterprise API terms.
• Prohibited Content: illegal or infringing material, malware, content violating Terms of Service.

How We Monitor Fair Use

We support customers and monitor usage with automated systems and proactive support.

• System performance and anomaly detection

What Happens If There's a Concern

1. Conversation: we reach out to understand your use case.
2. Optimization Support: suggestions or tier recommendations.
3. Resolution: rare — upgrade or suspension only in severe abuse.

In 99.9% of cases, we resolve concerns through conversation and support.
