We build the infrastructure behind ambitious programs
Untap started by helping organisations find undiscovered talent. Today we operate platform infrastructure that powers hiring, innovation and competition programs for enterprises, governments and universities.

What makes Untap different
Infrastructure, not point tools
One identity, permission and analytics layer under every product, so programs compound instead of fragmenting.
Fairness by design
Explainable scoring, auditable decisions and access controls that stand up to scrutiny.
Built for scale
Tens of thousands of participants, hundreds of evaluators, one predictable system.
Partnership over licensing
Our team helps design the program, not just configure the software.
How Untap got here
Four chapters, from a stack of pencil sketches to platform infrastructure running programs on every continent.
- 01
The sketches
An idea drawn on paper
Untap began as a set of hand-drawn panels about open innovation: the belief that the best answers to hard problems already exist somewhere outside the organisation asking the question.
- 02
First programs
Finding undiscovered talent
The first version helped organisations run open calls and competitions to surface people and ideas they would never have reached through job boards or agencies.
- 03
One platform
Three products, one infrastructure
Talent, Innovate and Compete grew out of the same engine — shared accounts, permissions, evaluation and reporting — so a program in one product compounds with the rest.
- 04
Today
Unlimited programs, one flat price
100+ organisations run 400+ programs on Untap, with over a million participants engaged across enterprises, governments, NGOs and universities.
The organizations who built programs with us
Enterprises, UN agencies, NGOs and governments ran talent, innovation and competition programs on Untap.
Drawn years before the platform existed
These are the original sketches behind Untap — a set of hand-drawn panels about open innovation and crowdsourcing. The products changed shape many times since. The thesis in these drawings never did.

A world changing fast
The first panel: problems piling up faster than any single organisation can solve them.

Open innovation
The answer we sketched: solutions coming from everywhere at once — startups, researchers, employees, citizens.

Brain power
The idea that became our mark: untapped collective intelligence, drawn as a world inside a head.

The crowd as one mind
Thousands of individual contributions forming a single shape — the crowdsourcing thesis in one drawing.
